The story behind the name: Kansas City Southern

As life-long fans of the Kansas City Chiefs and after more than one trip to that BBQ Capital of the World, we had to find a way to bring this style home to our kitchen and kitchens everywhere.

We wanted something for anyone who loves to BBQ or grill, regardless of location. We originally developed this blend in our home kitchen as our tribute to the smoky, juicy style of Kansas City BBQ, using it on our no-fail, neighborhood-famous 3-2-1 babyback ribs.
